The weather forecast was for rain, thunderstorms and possible tornados. At 8 a.m. after a night of rain it was still raining. We decided not to set up the Giant Chess Set but instead just to go with the chess tables by the Town Hall.
By 10 a.m. the rain had stopped, by early afternoon it was warm and sunny. By 3p.m. we could not get people to go home. David cleared up the final chairs and tables at about 4 p.m. after a very fine and successful Town Day.
