Vivek Rao is congratulated by all for scoring 8.5 out of a possible 10 in a thirty minute clock simul against WCC's top players.

Boards 2, 3 and 4 after the end of the simul (John, Anil and Suat)

Steve Frymer drew his game which later Vivek reviewed on the demo Board and said he was pleased when Steve agreed to the draw.

Suat Genc shows Sean Blaisdell how his game went.  WinCAM camera in background; in due course the simul will be on WinCAM

Those not in the simul had a three round, game 10, event of their own.

Tom Richardson gallantly ran both the simul and the three round event (simultaneously) here, the young players wait to find who won!

Chess is one area where young and not so young can happily compete

Sean Blaisdell returned to the club after a few weeks absence and picked up a prize.

Here, Jim Herbert who played Board 10 in the simul and was still playing when seven others had finished, gives the thumbs up to Ray Gardner who won a prize ($1) in the three round tournament.
